Made in Maine, U.S.A.

We feel that it’s important to use American made materials. We buy everything from American-run businesses. Part of our popularity, even in Europe, is that our mounts are real North American wildlife.

Mounting options

Some mounts are on solid wooden plaques. This leaves an attractive border of finished wood. Or you may choose a shoulder mount. That means that the fur at the back is pulled over an insert to leave no wood border showing. Really large mounts are finished this way. All mounts are finished and ready for you to hang.

Hanging information

This really depends on your wall. We use 30 lb. classic hangers for everything. You don’t need it for the weight, but you can use a 50 lb. for the larger mounts like Tatanka or Jack.

How much do the different mounts weigh?

People are often surprised by how light the mounts are.

The tiny size mounts are 0.2 lb. even on plaques!

Small moose weighs no more than 1 lb.

The deer, all smalls and mediums are 1.5 to 2.5 lbs.

The large moose, X-Large moose, and big bears are all 2 or, on plaques, 3 lbs.

The sheep and goat, the big buffalo are all @ 4 lbs.

The XX-Large moose weigh 5.5 to 7 lbs.
